Guest Reviews & Ratings
I found the hotel to be centrally located with convenient access to shopping, restaurants, and tours. The room, resembling a studio apartment, was equipped with a kitchenette and featured a pleasant sofa.
I stayed at Hyatt House Charleston with my family of 4 children. The rooms were spacious and suitable for a meeting with a small kitchen, living room, bathroom with a shower, and a queen-size bed, all in good shape. The service was very nice, quick to get our car, and all staff were personable, pleasant, and great ambassadors for Charleston. The location is central to shopping, restaurants, and tours in the Upper King Street area, making it a great place to stay when visiting Charleston.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room I received was a bit worn and not as clean or comfortable as I had hoped, with some broken furniture and a musty smell. However, the room amenities like the iron and hairdryer were helpful. The service from the staff was exceptional, being very helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The location was convenient for exploring downtown but a bit hard to identify from the busy street. The dining experience was chaotic, and although the facilities were decent, they could use some improvement.
